Spilers Beach Club - On - Sea

On the Costa Del Sol at the Kempinski

A brave blackbird from its lofty branch sang its enchanting song

Warbling magical mystic melodies all evening long

So small and delicate he welcomed all to this beach club throng

After the wrong we’ve done his kind, he still wants us to belong

The proud white crested sea horses frolicked and foamed, dashed and danced

Beneath sun soaked Mediterranean skies they reared and pranced

Racing unbridled from Neptune’s kingdom to a beach of gold

Suddenly vanishing by a force of nature uncontrolled

Rising like a mighty phoenix sculptured in the depths of hell

The giant rock, Gibraltar stands where warriors fought and fell

Portal to Africa, the Atlas Mountains, stark, dominant

Greek Gods chronicled epic fables of this dark continent

A daily eclipse cloaked the last glimmer of earthly light

O’er which a secret stygen empire covertly rules by night

' Til the Sun frees itself each Morning from this oppressive plight

Forced to exert all its celestial mega massive might

Then sky and sea merge beautifully into all shades of blue

A white hot Sun gifts life and commands this awe-inspiring view

Investing in new life, the tree, the bird and the busy bee

In all nature’s symphony, nurturing peace and harmony

The breeze heavy with blossom and the sultry scents of the sea

Wafts aimlessly calming our senses. All is tranquillity
